Benjamin Dakota Rogers

 

Folk Roots from Scotland, Ontario

Having grown up on a farm in Scotland, ON, Benjamin Dakota Rogers is a distinctive, emotive and gritty singer-songwriter whose sound challenges the definition of the folk genre, reaching far beyond to include influences of roots, blues and country music. Benjamin's music is genuine, emotionally-charged folk, that can only be delivered from the honesty, strength and grit of a farm boys hands.

 

Corin Raymond Wordsmith from Hamilton, Ontario

Toronto songwriter Corin Raymond’s love of words began in the car with his father, driving the endless jack-pined distances of Northern Ontario. His father would tell Corin Greek myths to pass the time, and for Corin, this began a lifelong love affair with words and stories that set him on the path to becoming an acclaimed songwriter and a student of songcraft. Corin has traveled the length and breadth of Canada and across the globe, and his songs are being covered by artists like The Good Lovelies, The Strumbellas, Jonathan Byrd, Dustin Bentall, The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer, and many more. Corin’s 2019 album, Hobo Jungle Fever Dreams, won a Canadian Folk Music Award and garnered a JUNO award nomination for Best Contemporary Roots Album.  His latest release Dirty Mansions shows that Raymond continuing to push his creative boundaries while honing his songwriting skills. 

 

Griffin Noriega Country Jazz from St. Thomas, Ontario 

Griffin Noriega Griffin Noriega has been playing guitar since 2013 at the age of 10. Attending Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts in London, Ontario. Griffin continued to expand his musical interests through performances in his hometown of St. Thomas, Ontario. He shares his musical stylings at local community events, theatre productions, restaurants, weddings and private functions. He is currently studying music at Sir Wilfred Laurier University

James N Wilson

Singer-songwriter from Six Nations of the Grand River

James is a Mohawk/French Canadian Singer-Songwriter Musician from Six Nations, Ontario, Canada. He has performed his music all around North America sharing the stage with many artists such as Buffy Sainte Marie, Derek Miller, Logan Staats, and DJ Shub. In 2017 he had the opportunity to sing back-up for "Lorde" at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. Recently he released his debut album “Tidal Wave” which was produced by Jace Martin at Jukasa Studios. His 2019 single “City Lights” reached #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown.

It’s a recipe for a great time and good for what ails, home-cooked comfort food for the ears.  They are particularly adept with new-time traditionals, old-time originals and all-time favourites: mountain music filtered through the Grand River Valley.
